HOW MUCH ELECTRICITY DOES THE JAPANESE TOILET CONSUME?
In normal standby mode, the standby power consumption is 2W per hour. The complete VOGO toilet consumes only 0.048 kilowatt hours per day (24 hours) when in standby mode.
The energy consumption of the interior ultraviolet light is 1W per hour. In terms of maximum operating consumption, when all functions are in the menu, consumption is 0.25 kilowatt hours. At maximum operating speed: 1120W (when the heating module heats the water to 40℃).
WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A POWER OUTAGE?
VOGO SPAIN toilets are state-of-the-art. In the event of a power outage, our smart system switches to basic function mode and activates a built-in internal battery.
When this happens, the toilet’s automatic functions will not be available.
HOW DOES THE EMPTYING SYSTEM WORK?
The VOGO toilet flushing system works by means of a pressurized water jet, which empties the contents of the bowl in seconds. Flushing can be activated:
Automatically: When the sensor built into the seat detects a person sitting down, it releases water for 2 seconds, flushing the inside of the bowl. Then, when the person gets up from the seat, the flushing function is activated automatically.
Manually: By pressing the flush button on the control panel, the app, or the side button on the toilet.
In summary, the flushing system in Vogo toilets and many other toilets is based on the principle of gravity flushing, which uses the weight of the water stored in the tank to create the force necessary to remove waste from the bowl and clean it for the next use.
WHAT IS THE MAINTENANCE OF JAPANESE TOILETS?
VOGO SPAIN toilets require very simple maintenance as they are self-cleaning:
Internal cleaning: Under normal conditions of use, no internal cleaning is required as the toilet empties automatically and cleans the personal hygiene nozzles before and after use.
External cleaning: Only a damp cloth without any added products is required. The use of highly toxic products or corrosive acids is not recommended. It is advisable to clean the particle filter once every three months.
ARE JAPANESE TOILETS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY?
Yes, thanks to their automatic operation, anyone can use the toilet completely independently, making Japanese toilets suitable for children, the elderly, people with reduced mobility, etc.
Here are some reasons why these groups of people may find Japanese toilets useful
Automatic washing functions: Japanese toilets have rear and front washing functions, which are especially useful for people with reduced mobility who may have difficulty cleaning themselves properly after using the toilet.
Personal hygiene assistance: Automatic washing and drying functions can help seniors or people with disabilities maintain their personal hygiene more effectively and comfortably.
Heated seat: Some Japanese toilets have heated seats, which can be comforting for seniors who are sensitive to the cold or for those who spend more time in the bathroom due to mobility issues.
Presence detection: Some Japanese toilets are equipped with presence sensors that can automatically activate functions when a person approaches the toilet, which can be convenient for people with limited mobility.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLING TOILETS?
To install a VOGO smart toilet, you need three basic elements, which are already present in every home.
TANK-LESS MODELS SL – S – R SERIES
Wastewater outlet: The drain can be floor or wall outlet.
Floor connection: Between 150 and 400 mm from the wall. (The standard measurement is 210 mm)
Wall connection: Between 160 and 180 mm from the floor.
Water supply: Must have a pressure of 0.2 MPa (200 kPa) to 0.4 MPa (400 kPa) and a flow rate of 6 liters in 15 seconds up to a maximum of 9 liters in 15 seconds.
Power supply: 230 V type F, which is the standard in Europe.
MODELS WITH TANK SERIES A – E – W
As these models have an integrated tank, they do not require a minimum flow pressure, making this series of toilets ideal for installation in high-rise buildings where the pressure is minimal or in locations where the flow is not high due to altitude, sewerage, etc.
Toilets with built-in tanks offer several advantages in terms of water efficiency, design, maintenance, and ease of installation compared to toilets without built-in tanks.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF TOILETS WITH BUILT-IN TANKS OVER THOSE WITHOUT?
Toilets with built-in tanks have several advantages over those without:
Lower water consumption: Toilets with built-in tanks usually have a flush mechanism that controls the amount of water used in each flush, which can result in lower water consumption compared to toilets without built-in tanks.
More design options: Toilets with built-in tanks come in a variety of designs and styles that can complement your bathroom décor. In addition, because everything is integrated, they can take up less visual space in the bathroom.
Easier maintenance: Toilets with built-in tanks are often easier to clean and maintain, as the tank is integrated into the back of the toilet, meaning there are no additional parts to clean or maintain separately.
Consistent flush pressure: Toilets with built-in tanks provide more consistent flush pressure, which can help ensure an effective flush with every use.
Simpler installation: Installing toilets with built-in tanks is simpler than those that require external tanks, as there is no need to install the tank separately.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A JAPANESE TOILET AND A TOILET SEAT WITH A BIDET?
The Japanese toilet is a single piece that integrates the toilet and bidet into one unit developed using advanced technology. It is characterized by its personal washing functions with a water jet and air drying, as well as being fully automatic.
Meanwhile, the toilet seat with bidet offers the same personal hygiene features but does not have an automatic toilet bowl cleaning system, requiring the traditional flush button to be activated.
Toilets are complete units, whereas toilet seats with bidets are complementary accessories for traditional toilets.
WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF A SMART MIRROR?
Some of the features that smart mirrors typically offer include:
Information display: They can display useful information such as the time, weather, news, reminders, calendar, etc. This information can be customized according to user preferences.
Connectivity: Some smart mirrors are equipped with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth capabilities, allowing them to access the internet and connect with other smart devices in the home, such as smart speakers, cell phones, or home automation systems.
Entertainment features: They can play music, videos, or even games. This can be useful while getting ready for the day or relaxing during your daily routine.
Health and fitness tracking: Some smart mirrors can integrate apps or sensors that allow you to track your fitness, such as counting steps, measuring heart rate, tracking exercise progress, among other metrics.
Beauty and fashion features: Some models allow you to virtually try on makeup, hairstyles, or clothes, which can be useful for making style or purchasing decisions.
Communication and personal assistance: They may include microphones and speakers that allow you to interact with virtual assistants such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri, making it easier to ask questions, manage tasks, or get answers to questions.
Connecting to Wi-Fi: Follow the instructions in the manual to connect the mirror to your home Wi-Fi network. This will allow you to access online features and download your favorite apps from the App Store, such as Netflix, Spotify, Amazon, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO CONNECT SMART MIRRORS?
You must have a power outlet for connection to the electrical grid. You will also need a Wi-Fi connection to connect the mirror to the Internet in order to link the time and date in real time, as well as to access the various applications.
CAN I DOWNLOAD MY APPS TO THE SMART MIRROR?
Yes, you can download your favorite apps to VOGO smart mirrors via the App Store to get the most out of the virtual mirror’s features. You can download apps such as Netflix, Spotify, Amazon, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
